SALT MEADOW HAY
Salt Meadow Hay, Spartina patens:
One to two feet high. Has flat leaves with parallel veination. Blades are
finer than its genus cousin cordgrass. Grass
has a cow-licked appearance and is generally found upland of cordgrass in the
middle marsh.
